About
The Psych

Hello! I’m Nasia Outsikas, and as a registered psychologist I help people understand and work through areas of their mind that they feel are unclear, stuck or painful. I work mostly with young adults who present with intense emotions, hurt relationships, and heavy life experiences. Psychology for me has always been about learning, safety, and reclaiming our power to shape the hand we’ve been dealt.
How i do What I DO
I meet your story with attention and care.
Psychology is my life, and not a day goes by where I don’t learn something new. I’ve trained in several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Relational Psychodynamic Therapy. I’m currently working towards my clinical psychologist endorsement so I can bring you the most effective therapy tools available.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Individual sessions are $210, and family sessions are $300. Each session runs for 50 minutes.
Yep, sessions may be covered through Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and TAC. If you have private health insurance that includes psychology, you might also be able to claim rebates. It’s best to contact your provider directly to confirm your coverage.
You don’t need a referral to book a session, but if you’d like to access Medicare rebates you’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
