My Therapeutic Approach

I use an integrative approach to therapy, blending Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support each client’s unique needs. 

CBT helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, DBT is particularly effective for managing intense emotions and improving relationships, and ACT focuses on accepting what’s out of your control and committing to actions aligned with your values. By combining these evidence-based therapies, I provide a flexible, tailored approach that supports meaningful, lasting change.

Flexible Service Options

I offer 50-minute sessions in various settings to fit your needs: at my clinic in Caulfield, through home visits for added convenience, or in a relaxed walk around Caulfield Park. Telehealth is also available, providing access to therapy from anywhere.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Confidentiality is at the core of my practice. Everything we discuss remains private and secure, allowing you to feel safe and open during our sessions. I adhere to strict professional guidelines to protect your information and maintain a secure environment.

Funding and Coverage

To receive a Medicare rebate, please visit your GP and request a mental health care plan, which provides a rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If you have private health insurance that covers psychology, you may also be eligible for rebates on sessions. Contact your provider to learn more about your coverage options.

What to Expect in the First Session

The first session is an initial consultation where we discuss your concerns, goals, and history. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions and determine if I’m the right fit for you. Together, we will create a plan to address your needs and set the direction for future sessions.
